UND, others, gather to discuss new hockey conference

Representatives from six of the top college hockey programs in the nation are assembling in Colorado Springs for tomorrow's big announcement regarding the formation of a new college hockey conference. Brian Faison and Dave Hakstol, along with ADs and coaches from Nebraska-Omaha, Minnesota-Duluth, Denver, Colorado College and Miami (OH) will announce the formation of the new league at a press conference tomorrow.

Brian Faison – UND Athletic Director: “It's been a difficult year especially considering realignment and conferences shifting around, sports, universities. Impacted us a lot in many areas, to our benefit i would say. This is part of that. We're excited and honored to be a part of this and you'll hear more tomorrow.”
