Amy Anderson celebrates her birthday at the US OpenColorado Springs, Colorado (WDAY Sports) - You've perhaps heard of the promo breakfast at Wimbledon? Anderson finished her 3rd round in the morning.
Her scores, along with most others today, had everyone saying "oh deer!" as very few mustered a round under par.
On the par four 5th, Anderson chipping from just off the green, rolls it well by. You are thinking, oh-oh, but the birthday girl calmly steps up and saves par, rolling it in. Unfortunately, she didn't make as many as she hoped in round three, shooting a 10-over 81.
She bounced back in her final round with a 3-over 74 for a 4 day total of 17-over. Many players were unable to finish however, so they'll finish up this morning. Hee Kyung Seo leads it. American Kristie Kerr is two shots back with 2 to play. After the tournament wrapped for Anderson, we asked her how she was feeling.
