Antique tractor show draws a crowd in Grand Forks
Tractor lovers had a chance to not only check out antique tractors but take part in a tractor pull in Grand Forks.
Hundreds of people came to the Joe Perkerewicz (Perk-care-wix) Memorial Tractor Pull and Classic Iron Antique Tractor Show. More than 70 people took part in the pull trying to go the farthest distance. Some, a part of the event since the beginning including Don Dufner who says
“I've been a part of it ever since it's started. I started Tractor Pulling in 1964. I got 2nd place the first time I competed so I just got hung up on it and I can't seem to quit.” Each participant pays 10-dollars which is then split between the top 3 winners.
