Vendors are gearing up today in West Fargo, for the start of the Red River Valley fair tomorrow. Good weather and family "stay-cations" could mean for a very busy year.

It's that time of year again. All of your favorite treats on a stick, like cheesecake. Here at the Red River Valley Fair all of your old favorites mixed with a couple of new ones.

While many old favorites like funnel cakes and ferris wheels will still be there many new attractions have been added.

A new dueling pirates show has been added, as well as several new animal exhibits at the Ag Education Center.

Fair officials hope the new attractions and low prices will bring many people out to the fair.

Bryan Schulz – General Manager: “Once you get on the grounds everything is free other than the food and the carnival.”

The grand stand is free once you get on the grounds. So it is a great opportunity for people to come out and spend some time.

Doors open tomorrow and run through the 16th

There are many different package prices for all fair activities. To see a full list of pricing and events log on to our website and click on the easy link.
