Vendors are gearing up and getting ready for the first day of the Red River Valley Fair. The fair will open its doors tomorrow at noon.

There are many new attractions this year including a dueling pirates show and many new baby farm animals. The biggest feature of the fair will be the free ground acts. All of the old time favorite attractions will still be there. Fair officials hope this year will bring out a lot of people for great family fun.

Brian Schulz – Red River Valley Fair: “the way the economy has been, we're hoping for more people to stay home and do staycations with all the fun things we have out here for inexpensive price. Once you get on the grounds everything is free other than the food and the carnival.”

The Red River Valley Fair runs through July 16th.
