COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - North Dakota State golfer Amy Anderson shares the early lead at the U.S. Women's Open golf tournament at Broadmoor golf course. Anderson is 2 under par through 12 holes.

Professional Christie Kerr is also 2 under. Anderson's birdie on the par-5 ninth gave her a share of the lead at 2 under with Inbee Park, who has since dropped a shot.

Play was suspended due to thunderstorms at 1:47 p.m. CDT. A 2:05 p.m. post on the USGA website says the delay could be long.

Anderson is 49th in the women's World Amateur Golf Ranking.
