Escaped inmate caught in Mandan will now serve 10 months in prison
(WDAY TV) - A Barnes County inmate who escaped from jail will now serve ten months in prison. 28-year-old Ryan Thomas, from Mandan, was doing time for providing false information to police at the time of his escape.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY

Thomas is from Mandan and was being held on several Morton County warrants. He has prior convictions that include possession of marijuana, fleeing an officer and aggravated assault.

Thomas, along with 21-year-old Travis Dethlefts of Carrington escaped the jail June sixth by kicking in a fire escape door. Thomas was found June 18th at a Mandan bar.
Dethlefts was caught in a Fargo motel room on June 17th. Thomas will start his sentence at the North Dakota State Penitentiary in Bismarck in the next few days.
