Storey named Boys Hockey Coach for South-Shanley
Fargo, ND (WDAY Sports) - The Fargo South-Shanley boys hockey co-op has a new head coach. Wade Storey takes over the Bruins.By: Trevor Peterson, WDAY
Storey is a Warroad native who played in the USHL and has 25 years of hockey coaching experience in the area. He's coached the NDSU club hockey team, been the director of Fargo Squirt hockey, and coached team North Dakota to four USA Youth Hockey national titles in the last 6 years.
Wade Storey - Named Boys Hockey Coach for South/Shanley: “I've coached kids from 10-years old to 25 and even NHL level guys over the past few years at the elite leagues. So I guess my philosophy is you perform in practice, practice will be hard, games will be easy.”
Storey replaces Dave Benson for the Bruins, who resigned after three seasons.
