Images of 9/11 aftermath on display at Hjemkomst

Aftermath images are now on display at the Hjemkomst Historical and Cultural Society. Photographer Joel Meyerowitz had a rare opportunity to get up close and personal ground zero property. The exhibit director believes it is a great opportunity for our community to relive the tragedy first hand.

Maureen Jonason – Executive Director: “The photographs are disturbing and they do bring back some very painful memories but I think it is also really important to teach the younger generation about this particular thing that happened to us.”

The exhibit will be open until September 11th. It will be the 10th anniversary of the attack.
