The first of July also means the landscape of college athletics has officially changed.
The Big Ten officially welcomed in Nebraska today, becoming the conference's 12th member and first new addition since Penn State in 1990.
Gopher fans will welcome Husker nation to TCF Bank Stadium on October 22nd for a conference clash, a game that's scheduled to air right here on WDAY.
