Roger Maris Golf Tournament tees offFargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Golfers from across the country teed off for the 28th annual Roger Maris Golf Tournament at Rose Creek.

The tournament is an 18 hole six member team scramble including a sports auction and banquet. Proceeds from the tournament are donated to Hospice of the Red River Valley, the Roger Maris Cancer Center, and Fargo Shanley High School, Roger’s alma mater. The tournament is packed with more than 500 participants.
Denise Sargent – Event Chairman: “We had a packed house of 670 people at the banquet last night and that was tremendous the auction went very, very well and today we have a full flight again.”
Each team member payed 250 dollars to enter the tournament. Golfers could golf with a celebrity for no additional charge.
