West Fargo school bus driver who got a DUI in February arrested again
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A former School Bus driver for West Fargo who got a DUI in February, has been arrested again.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Clay County deputies arrested 59 year old Steven Sauer in Sabin for DUI. This will be his 4th arrest.
Clay County deputies were called to a house in Sabin where Sauer was allegedly harassing a homeowner. Those deputies then tested Sauer who blew a point two zero.
Bill Bergquist – Clay County Sheriff: “Talking to him when they got there, the deputies got some indication he had been drinking they performed a test and he was arrested for DUI.”
Sauer was arrested for DUI last February after he plowed his bus into a snowbank. There were no students on board. It happened in the 100 block of 32nd Avenue west. He was convicted, paid a fine, and served community service. He lost his job as a bus driver.
Sauer is not in Clay County jail. He required hospitalization in a local treatment facility shortly after his arrest.
