The downpour over the last two days has pushed tonight's event at Red River Valley Speedway to tomorrow. Stewart was hanging out at the track today, with good buddy Donny Schatz. We asked the 2-time cup champion how the delay affects his busy schedule?

Tony Stewart – 2 time Sprint Cup Champion: “We actually planned a rain date in case of bad weather so we're sticking around till tomorrow night. This is a race we don't want to miss.”

The billboard in town says you're back to win this year. Pressure?

Tony Stewart: I was here to win last year and just didn't get it done. We'll do our best again. When you go to somebody else’s track where they're used to it and you're not, it's tough. We don't show to race for 2nd though, so we'll do our best.

When will the NASCAR Sprint Cup guys gonna race on dirt?

Tony Stewart: We just had our big charity event at Eldora with about 25 guys. But schedules are hard. I'm a single guy so it's a bit easier for me to be away from family for a week to race on dirt.

Kind of been an up and down year for you.

Tony Stewart: it's been crazy, some of the worst luck I’ve ever had. If we ever got rid of it, think we'll be ok.

3rd season of being driver and owner. What have you learned?

Tony Stewart: That you lose a lot of sleep. Stress, strain being owner. But when you have a good day at the track, it's all worthwhile.

Tomorrow night's event is scheduled to get underway at 7:30 PM. Stewart will be trying to improve on his third place finish from last year.
