Human rights organization speaks out about cuts to people with disabilities
Moorhead, Minn. (WDAY TV) - The Minnesota budget battle is forcing cuts to people with disabilities. One of the largest human rights organizations is speaking out.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Opponents of the cuts stopped in Moorhead. Most cuts will affect insurance coverage, job training, education, and transportation.
People with disabilities and their caregivers fear the cuts will cause them to be disconnected from their communities.
STATE SENATOR KEITH LANGSETH - (D) Glyndon: “The most needy that are getting cut the most so so much for helping the most needy.”
Despite cuts, the Arc group plans to continue providing services.
