Pawlenty gives a speech on his economic plan
Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty made a pitch at a conference.
The Republican urged conservatives to look at experience, not who gives the best speech. Pawlenty walked the crowd through a fiscal record he says shows fortitude. He pushed back on criticism that his economic plan is too ambitious. Pawlenty says, “well if China can have five percent growth and India can have five percent growth and Brazil can have five percent growth, the United States of America can have five percent growth.” Pawlenty says he took on public worker benefits and cut government spending "before it was cool and popular."
