High water still a problem for people at Rice Lake

People at Rice Lake are still battling high water, after more than two months.

Works continues on a massive sandbag project to lower water over the road and keep lake access. Water had been nearly 21 inches deep. Because homeowners have been pumping water, it's gone down 6 inches. By tomorrow, they hope water will only cover three inches of the road to the lake. (Bob Hargrave / Rice Lake Homeowners Association) "We're making progress. Every inch is a huge success for us. We're worried, obviously it's not even summer yet and we're worried about winter and what's going to happen, so we're trying everything we can possibly do to get this lake down." Homeowners will have to pay about 100 thousand dollars to pump that water off the road, for three months.
