Moorhead police summer youth program a hot ticket

Hundreds showed up for a chance to get their kids enrolled in the program
It took only 40 minutes for the Moorhead police summer youth program to meet its limit of 200 kids signed up. Hundreds showed up for a chance to get their kids enrolled in the program. The 8 week program takes kids skating, bowling and swimming all while helping to educate kids on positive decision making.
Brian Dahl - Moorhead Police, Program Coordinator: “I think it helps give young kids some stability. With law enforcement, they get to meet law enforcement officers. It’s also a chance for them to meet each other.”
The program is held every Wednesday through the summer.
