Over 40,000 attend the Grand Cities Art Fest
Grand Forks, ND (WDAY TV) - As the Grand Cities Art Fest draws to a close, organizers are happy with turnout.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The 2 day event usually draws in about 35-thousand people. This year, attendance topped 40-thousand. The fest gets larger every year with more artists.
With more than 150 vendors displaying their works, it's not only good for them but also the community.
MARIE STRINDEN - Grand Cities Art Fest: “We did a study with The Americans For the Arts and they said that Art Fest brings about 3-million dollars into Grand Forks with all the tourist dollars and the restaurants and the hotels and everything that goes along with it.”
