WW II-era bomber tours grounded by failed engine
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — An engine failure has forced the Commemorative Air Force to cancel appearances of its World War II B-25 bomber "Miss Mitchell" in Oakes and Fargo.
FARGO, N.D. (AP) — An engine failure has forced the Commemorative Air Force to cancel appearances of its World War II B-25 bomber "Miss Mitchell" in Oakes and Fargo.
The Fargo Forum reports that the group that maintains the airplane was slated to give rides in Oakes and Fargo through Wednesday.
A Fargo air museum official says the engine had been used for only 10 hours when it failed.
