Community-run grocery store open in Buffalo, ND
Buffalo, ND (WDAY TV) - A follow-up to a story we brought you in March. Neighbors in Buffalo, North Dakota are celebrating their success this week.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Their now community-run grocery store, The Buffalo Food Market, is open for business. The previous owner closed shop on Saturday.
The town banded together and shareholders provided $50-thousand dollars to re-stock the store shelves. The town is now applying for a Department of Agriculture grant to make improvements to the building, which is owned by the city.
