Perham truck-train crash victim identified
Perham, Minn. (WDAY TV) - We now know the name of the man who was injured when his pickup was hit by a train.

The man had to be cut out of his truck. Authorities say about 4 this afternoon the man stopped his truck on the tracks and as hit.
Perham, Minn. (WDAY TV) - We now know the name of the man who was injured when his pickup was hit by a train. 48-year-old Gary Frieler of Lake Park, Minnesota had to be cut out of his truck after he was hit by a train near Perham.
This is a photo from the East Ottertail Focus newspaper. The crash happened at 4:00 yesterday afternoon when Frieler stopped his truck on the tracks and was hit.
Authorities are looking to see if he had a medical condition that could have played a factor. He was airlifted to an area hospital, his condition is unknown.
