Man hospitalized after he allegedly shoots up bar
HOPKINS, Minn. (AP) — A man was hospitalized after he allegedly shot up a bar in suburban Hopkins on Tuesday morning.

Police say the 36-year-old entered Lindee's Saloon and Eatery and began shooting the cash registers with a shotgun around 8 a.m. members of a cleaning crew fled.
Police established a perimeter and telephone contact. During the call, police overheard a struggle between the owner and the shooter. Officers entered and arrested the man.
Police say the man was taken to a nearby hospital for physical and psychological treatment.
Charges are pending. Nobody else was injured.
Police Sgt. Michael Glassberg tells the Star Tribune there is a known relationship between the owner and suspect, but declined to elaborate.
