FMEDC develops welcome program
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - Moving to a new city or state can be intimidating, especially if you've never been there before.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The Fargo Moorhead Economic Development Corporation has developed a "welcome" program. It gives people an overview of what the cities offer.
The program shows potential hires neighborhoods, schools, shopping centers and restaurants.
TIFANIE GELINSKE - FM Dir. of Work Force Development: “Well I think really, it doesn’t matter your communities size at all. Really, it's just about helping new comers make connections. Its about helping people who are not familiar with your community, know what you have.”
The program started in 2007. About ten people use it every month.
