Amy Anderson becomes the first Bison to compete at the NCAA Golf Tournament(WDAY Sports) - Oxbow's Amy Anderson made NDSU history when she teed off yesterday morning at the NCAA Golf Tournament, becoming the first Bison to participate in the event.

On a windy day in Bryan, Texas, Anderson teed off on the back nine first. She had her putter working today, drilling a couple of long birdie putts. She had 4 birdies on the round.
Anderson got to one under par, she struggled at the end with a triple bogey at the last. She finished with a two over 74. Anderson stands in 31st place.
Amy Anderson - 4 Birdies, 3 Bogeys Today: “Adrenaline was pumping at the beginning and hitting the clubs farther than before so I took some time to get adjusted to that. I put myself in position to make a couple birdies and capitalized on those and then the last hole I just screwed up but otherwise it was a pretty good day.”
Round two tees off tomorrow morning.
