ND man sentenced for theft of government funds
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A New Town man who pleaded guilty in federal court to theft of government funds has been ordered to pay back nearly $13,000.
MINOT, N.D. (AP) — A New Town man who pleaded guilty in federal court to theft of government funds has been ordered to pay back nearly $13,000.
Authorities say Jerry Lucier failed to report that he was married In July 2004 when he knew that his spouse's income would be considered when computing social security eligibility and income for his son.
U.S. Magistrate Judge Charles Miller ordered Lucier to serve three years' probation and pay $12,890 in restitution.
