COOPERSTOWN, N.D. (AP) — Authorities believe several factors, besides bullying, contributed to the suicide of a 16-year-old Cooperstown girl.
Griggs County Sheriff Robert Hook said that he doesn't expect any charges to be filed in connection with Cassidy Joy Andel's death. Andel hanged herself in her home on Nov. 4.
But officials are planning to organize at least two community meetings after Thanksgiving to educate people about suicide prevention.
