FORT TOTTEN, N.D. (AP) — Sullys Hill National Game Preserve in the flooded Devils Lake region has reopened after being closed over the weekend because of access problems.
Manager Tom Ibsen tells KZZY radio that visitors still can expect delays, with pilot cars leading traffic through a construction zone on state Highway 57.
Ibsen says he anticipates the road access problems will cut into visitor numbers this summer. Another problem is that half of the popular auto tour route at the preserve has been closed because of floodwaters.
