Dilworth searching for a new police chiefDilworth, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Dilworth city leaders are taking a look at how they will move forward in the search for a new police chief.

Dave Miller is quitting June 30th after 13 years. The council added responsibilities to the job description. Minimum requirements include a four year college degree and five years of law enforcement experience. The council can wave those qualifications.
CHAD OLSON - Dilworth Mayor: “We're talking about an individual that's going to be entrusted with the safety and security of the citizens of the city of Dilworth, so essentially this is top priority for the city of Dilworth and council at this time.”
Applicants have until June 1st to apply. Interviews will be the following week, with final interviews on June 22nd and 23rd. The new chief will start by August.
