COON RAPIDS, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota State Patrol says a 3-year-old girl who died in a rollover crash in Coon Rapids apparently was improperly restrained in her car seat.

Authorities say Narjes Al-Ahmad was riding in a car with her mother and another woman when the child was ejected on an exit ramp Wednesday.

The State Patrol says the child's 29-year-old mother lost control of her Nissan Maxima and rolled. KARE-TV says (http://bit.ly/iyVrk6 ) the mother is a new driver, having just earned her license in April.

The driver and a 20-year-old female passenger were also injured in the rollover. Both were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with minor injuries and released.
