Minnesota DNR investigating the deaths of 2 timber wolves near Park Rapids

Park Rapids, Minn. (WDAY TV) - The Minnesota D-N-R is investigating the deaths of 2 timber wolves near Park Rapids. The wolves are federally protected. It's illegal to kill them.
2 Timberwolves were found Sunday morning on U-S Highway-71, near Park Rapids. The D-N-R believes the carcasses were dumped there.
The D-N-R says it's not unusual to find Wolves in the heavily wooded area. If you have any information about the wolves, you're asked to call 1-800-652-9093.
