Another remarkable achievement for NDSU's Amy Anderson
(WDAY Sports) - It's another remarkable achievement for Oxbow native Amy Anderson. Anderson qualified for the NCAA Finals in Texas by one shot over the weekend!By: Dom Izzo, WDAY
It was a nervous day for the former US Junior Amateur Champ. She finished her round in the morning, and then had to wait around to see if she would qualify.
Amy Anderson - Qualified for NCAA Golf Finals: “After the last few days I've realized how big a deal it is, especially seeing the teams that didn't go, that have great golfers and I get to go. That's really special.”
Nathan Anderson - NDSU Sophomore - Amy's Brother: “Mom was texting us back how she's doing we open it up it'd be a bogey or a double, it was an emotional roller coaster.”
The tourney begins May 18th in Texas.
