Oxbow's Amy Anderson qualifies for the National Championships
(WDAY Sports) - Oxbow's Amy Anderson has made a name for herself in Fargo-Moorhead as one of the top golfers in the area. Now she has the opportunity to do the same on college golf's biggest stage.By: Jody Norstedt, WDAY
Anderson qualified for the National Championships yesterday by one stroke, finishing tied for 11th with a 5-over 221. It is a score that gave her one of two automatic individual bids to the big dance in Bryan, Texas. Needless to say she's thrilled.
Amy Anderson, NDSU Sophomore: “It's the best players in the country. It's really going to be a good experience to see where I stack up with them and it is going to be a challenge.”
The championships consist of 4 rounds of golf. The field consists of 126 players. It all gets underway May 18th.
