NDSU's Anderson shoots a 72 after round 1

(WDAY Sports) - The opening round of the NCAA West Regional got underway out in Auburn, Washington this morning.

NDSU's Amy Anderson knew full well she needed to get off to a good start.

She's in good position after round 1, shot an opening 72 with two birdies and two bogeys. She needs to finish in the top 2 to make the NCAA finals.
