Two men arrested for Arson

At 5:20 a.m. this morning, Moorhead Police and Fire Departments responded to 2913 Hanover for a report of a vehicle that was on fire in the driveway. Upon extinguishing the flames, it was determined by evidence at the scene that an accelerant was used and that the fire was intentionally started.

Justin Dorrean Buckner (18 year old from Moorhead) and Lawrence Leroy Wallace (19 year old from Georgetown) are currently in custody at the Clay County Jail pending a long form complaint from the County Attorney’s Office for appropriate felony charges. It is believed that this vehicle was specifically targeted as it belongs to the man that is currently dating Buckner’s ex-girlfriend.
