But for students at Wadena-Deer Creek high school, who lost their campus last June to an EF-4 twister, the importance of this week hits close to home. Some students say practice tornado drills will no longer just mean less class time and more talking with friends.

DUKE HARRISON - High School Senior: "Now it has a little more meaning being as we know just how devastating a tornado can be so we're going to kind of appreciate that and just take it seriously."

The high school students are now sharing a campus with students at M-State.
