Governor touring flood response in Lisbon
LISBON, N.D. (AP) — Gov. Jack Dalrymple and other state officials on Friday were touring the flooding in the Lisbon area in southeast North Dakota.
LISBON, N.D. (AP) — Gov. Jack Dalrymple and other state officials on Friday were touring the flooding in the Lisbon area in southeast North Dakota.
A public meeting also was being held in the Ransom County Courthouse to provide updates on the response to Sheyenne River flooding.
State Transportation officials on Thursday closed N.D. Highway 27 in the Lisbon area so crews could build an earthen levee for flood protection.
