Force begin quest for a third straight appearance in the championship

Under the new playoff format, the opening round is best of three and the Force will have home ice facing Lincoln, a team they won 5 games against this year.

Jason Herter - Force Head Coach: “We're very similar teams. Both teams have solid goaltending and some dynamic forwards. It's gonna be a battle of wills we've been pretty even all year.”

Jimmy Mullin - 60 Points This Season: “We gotta just out battle them out, compete with them. We just gotta come together as a team and put some pucks in the net and get on them early cause Lincoln they can come out hard it should be a pretty even matchup if we come out and work harder than they do I think we'll be fine.”

All three games are in Fargo for this series, game one is Friday night at 7:30. The Force had a 5-3 record against the stars this year.
