Coast Guard rescues Argusville woman and her 3-month old
Argusville, ND (WDAY TV) - A rescue today, near Argusville. A Coast Guard helicopter airlifted this woman and her 3-month old child to safety.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Authorities say she was out of food and diapers, and the roads were too soft for rescue vehicles to get in.
Air boats could have been used, but the helicopter just happened to be in the area. The Coast Guard has 54 people in the region to support rescue operations.
