UPDATE: All Clear in Horace After Ammonia Leak
Horace, ND (WDAY-TV) -- Cass County authorities are now giving the all-clear in Horace after an anhydrous ammonia leak Friday morning.
Horace, ND (WDAY-TV) -- Cass County authorities are now giving the all-clear in Horace after an anhydrous ammonia leak Friday morning.
Residents were alerted to stay in their homes after authorities say a tank on the south side of Horace was leaking and an ammonia cloud was visible.
Cass County administrator Bonnie Johnson says 30,000 gallons of anhydrous was being transferred to a secured tank.
Residents withing a three mile radius were asked to stay in their homes during the incident and traffic was advised to avoid the Horace area.
