Driver of car blames mechanical problem for Larimore crash
Larimore, ND (WDAY TV) - The driver of a car involved in an accident in which five juveniles were hurt says a mechanical problem is to blame.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
The North Dakota State Patrol say it's unclear who was driving the car as it turned around at a farm attempting to head south onto ND Highway 18 back into Larimore.
The driver lost control as the car continued east bound across the highway into the ditch and struck a tree. All five juveniles were hospitalized.
Sgt. Aaron Hummel - North Dakota Highway Patrol: “Ages range in age from 12 to 17, four were injured, 1 quite seriously and the rest of the crash is under investigation at this point.”
For now as the investigation continues, Hummel says they can't release names.
