MN State Patrol stops a motorcycle 128mph in a 55mph zone

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at approximately 1:30 pm a Minnesota State Trooper clocked a southbound motorcycle at 128 mph in a 55 mph zone on county road 52 between Sabin and Baker (Southeast of Moorhead approximately 10 miles).

On Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at approximately 1:30 pm a Minnesota State Trooper clocked a southbound motorcycle at 128 mph in a 55 mph zone on county road 52 between Sabin and Baker (Southeast of Moorhead approximately 10 miles).

The trooper stopped the motorcycle without incident and cited Jakob Louis Gehrig, 21 years of age from Barnesville, MN for 128 mph in a 55 mph zone.

31 mph and above is a $385 fine. Drivers who are in excess of 100 mph can have their driving privileges revoked for a six month period.
