Truck driver facing charges in connection with massive pile-up on I-94
Casselton, ND (WDAY TV) - A Chicago truck driver is now facing charged in connection to that crash on I-94 during the blizzard on December 30th. That caused a massive pile-up involving nearly 100 cars.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
28-year-old Henad Sibinovic is accused of driving his rig too fast on icy roads during white-out conditions, causing his empty semi to jack-knife. He's charged with Aggravated reckless driving.
50-year-old Lowell Balk from Walcott died in the pile-up when he got out of his own truck to help others. If convicted, Sibinovic could face up to a year in jail.
