BCBS health insurance premiums are going up

(WDAY TV) - If your health insurance is with Blue-Cross-Blue Shield, there is a good chance your premiums are going up.
The Blues announced today 30-thousand members will see increases starting May first. The increase is anywhere from 2 percent to 17-percent. The rate increase will be phased in over three years.
Blue Cross-Blue Shield says costs to cover individual members have exceeded premiums, citing a 20-million dollar loss the last 29-months.
