FARGO, N.D. (AP) — The career of one of the top players in North Dakota State University's 2009 football recruiting class might be over.

Head coach Craig Bohl tells The Forum that offensive lineman Hank Jacobs will miss spring football for the second straight year because of a back injury that might be too much for him to overcome.

Jacobs was a second-team all-state selection in Wisconsin while playing at Beaver Dam High School.
