Green Plains Renewable Energy acquired the plant for $55 million dollars. The plant will now be called Green Plains Otter Tail.
Its part of the fourth largest ethanol company in the country. The plant is in the process of hiring eight employees. Otter Tail Ag filed for bankruptcy because of the economy, rising corn prices, and falling gas prices.
