Drivers flock to Steele for lower gas prices

Steele, ND (WDAY TV) - Many of us worry that gas prices will continue to skyrocket, but one small North Dakota town is anything but idle on a breezy Sunday.

That's with the sheer number of travelers who stop to fill up, for even a few pennies less than surrounding cities.

The Steele Gas station offers diesel for $3.89 a gallon. That's less than the average in Jamestown.

TONY HANSON – Customer: "If you're going to drive, you're going to have to pay whatever it is, naturally with prices going out, you'd like to pay a little bit cheaper, but hopefully it doesn't get up to 5 dollars."
