Man to plead guilty in North Dakota drug case

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A man indicted in a conspiracy to sell more than 500 grams of methamphetamine in North Dakota says he will change his plea to guilty. Martin Juarez is charged in federal court with conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

FARGO, N.D. (AP) — A man indicted in a conspiracy to sell more than 500 grams of methamphetamine in North Dakota says he will change his plea to guilty.

Martin Juarez is charged in federal court with conspiracy to possess with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Authorities say the conspiracy moved meth from California to Fargo for distribution.

Anthony Gonzales Jr. and Jennifer Gilbertson are also charged in the case. Gonzales has agreed to plead guilty and is scheduled for sentencing on April 27. Gilbertson has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled for trial on May 10.

The conspiracy charge carries a maximum penalty of life and a minimum mandatory 10-year prison term.

A change-of-plea hearing for Juarez is set for Tuesday.
