United Way of Cass Clay honors donating businesses and organizations
Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - The United Way of Cass Clay honored it's more than 600 donating businesses and organizations at its annual meeting today.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Topics discussed including building on last year's record of just over 5-million dollars raised.
In the past decade, the United Way has nearly doubled its donations. Officials say the 420 people attending today's meeting, are just a small fraction of those that help out in Cass and Clay counties.
TAMMY MILLER - 2010 CAMPAIGN CHAIR: “Just because businesses are small, in the past we overlooked them, but they have a lot to give in this community and they really came through this year.”
There were also more than 13-thousand individual donors this year.
