BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — A Fort Yates woman accused of setting fire to a home she was renting from the Standing Rock Housing Authority has been sentenced to 1 ½ years in federal prison.

U.S. Attorney Timothy Purdon says 32-year-old Rebecca Marshall also was ordered to pay more than $69,650 in restitution. She will be on supervised release for three years following her prison term.

Authorities say Marshall was being evicted from the home in November 2009, and destroyed it by lighting blankets on fire. She pleaded guilty to arson last October.
