Wadena Tornado: Discovery Channel's Storm Chaser footage to debut on the silver screen
Wadena, Minn. (WDAY TV) - Coverage of the Wadena tornado has drawn national attention since it touched down June 17 and now the Discovery Channel's Storm Chaser footage will make its debut on the silver screen.By: WDAY Staff Reports, WDAY
Storm Chasers director Sean Casey says Wadena's EF-4 tornado is one he will never forget and now neither will I-MAX movie goers with this Friday's premiere of Tornado Alley. It features the June 17th touchdown.
The question is how does Wadena feel about the national exposure?
CHRIS HOUTS - Tornado Victim: “They watch it and some of those feelings might come back and it's possible and I'm sure it has happened and there are some people who are just so fascinated by it that they want to continue to learn more.”
Houts says the storm chaser crew warned many residents and emergency personnel in Wadena that day, possibly saving lives.
